Chocolate-Banana Pancakes

Full of good-for-you ingredients, these pancakes are great for breakfasts and brunch! (They're also gluten-free and vegan!)

Ingredients

1/2 cup oats (gluten-free if necessary)
1 1/2 ripe banana cut into chunks
1T flaxseed meal
1T chia seeds
2T hemp protein powder
2T cacao
3/4 cup non-dairy milk
1/2t baking soda
dash salt

Directions

Preheat a skillet over medium-low heat. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. 

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until everything is combined. Spray your pan with cooking spray. By the scant 1/4-cup fulls, portion out batter and cook on one side for about five minutes--until bubbles form. Flip and cook for three to five more minutes. Place the completed pancakes in a warm oven.

Repeat the process with remaining batter. 

Serve with fruit or nut butter!
