Love those fancy bottled green juices, but don't love the cost? You can easily make your own green juice at home! And you don't need a juicer.

Two small servings or one large


1 1/2 cups coconut water
1 cup spinach
1 cup greens (sorrel, kale, collards, lettuce, more spinach or try a little parsley)
1-inch knob of fresh organic ginger
1 tiny apple, cored
2T freshly-squeezed lemon juice


In a blender, add all ingredients and blend until very, very smooth. 

Now, you have two serving options. You can either serve as is, or you can run the mixture through a nut milk bag or a very fine sieve to remove all of the pulp. (I'm on Team Pulp because...fiber.)
