Waffles are often associated with fancy Sunday brunches, but with a few simple ingredients, you can whip up this chocolate waffle any day. Bonus: It's gluten-free!
2 T hemp protein powder
1 T brown rice flour
1 T cacao powder
2 T kefir (or your favorite milk/non-dairy milk)
1/4 t baking powder
dash salt and cinnamon
Plug in your waffle iron and allow to warm up.
In a small bowl, mash the banana. Add the egg and stir to combine. Add the remaining ingredients until just combined. When your waffle iron is heated, spray with non-stick cooking spray and apply the batter. Cook until your desired doneness.
Top with fresh fruit or peanut butter fluff!
