These doughnuts have a thick, cakey texture, and are naturally sweet. Baked and with healthy ingredients, this is a doughnut you can feel good about.
3 T milk
1 t olive oil
1 t honey
1/3 cup brown rice flour
2 T almond meal
1 T flaxseed meal
1/2 t cinnamon
1/4 t baking soda
2 T high-quality chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a doughnut pan (or muffin tin) with cooking spray.
In a small bowl, mash the banana. Add the egg and stir. Add the rest of the ingredients except the chocolate chips, and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the chips
Pour the batter into the prepared pain, until about 2/3 full. You should get three doughnuts.
Bake for 15 minutes. Allow to cool.
