Energy bites and balls are great snacks because they pack a nutritional punch for such a tiny snack. Filled with healthy fats, proteins, carbs and nutrients, these guys are great when you need a quick energy boost! 

Cooking Time

1/2 cup Medjool dates
1 cup nuts
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds (or sunflower seeds)
1/4 cup cacao nibs
1/4 cup buckwheat groats (or rolled oats)
1 t cinnamon
dash salt
2 scoops collagen peptides (optional)


Warm a bowl of water, and add the dates. Allow to soak for 10 minutes, or until soft. Drain. 

In a food process, add the remaining ingredients. When the dates are soaked, add the dates. Pulse until everything is in bite-size pieces.

Wet your  hands, and begin to roll the "dough" into balls that are about the size of a ping pong ball. Really mold and roll firmly. Set aside and repeat until all "dough" is used. Store in an air-tight container in the freezer.
