What is a Health Coach?

Sometimes, we need a cheerleader.

We need someone to help keep us accountable for our goals and help us navigate the nuttiness that is life.

As a Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, I am certified to help you reach all of your health and wellness goals. Whether you're looking to lose weight, reduce stress, or eat more kale, I will help you create a wellness plan based upon your needs.

But a Health Coach does simply more than say "Yeah! Let's eat more kale!"

We believe in something called "bio-individuality"--the belief that every body is different. While you may thrive eating high protein and high fat, your best friend may feel the very best eating little to no animal proteins. And you know what? That's all right!

By working with a Health Coach, you will discover an eating style that works best for you. Your body is a big bio-computer, and it takes time and effort to discover what makes it thrive. 

What's on your plate, however, is just one part of the wellness discussion. Your relationships, physical activities, spirituality and career all effect your wellness. You could eat all the kale in the world, but still not feel your very best. 

A Health Coach will help you navigate your everyday, and help you to create positive habits that can be carried on throughout the rest of your life.
